I am a MSc candidate and the project manager for the Kiritimati Island Research Program in the Baum Lab at the University of Victoria.  For my masters thesis and a focus of the Kiritimati Island research, we are looking at how the corals respond to stress such as human disturbance, global change, and El Niño and how they recover from such disturbances.  For more information visit my research page or visit the lab website (link available on the ‘Contact’ page).

Traveling is a big part of my life and I am generally always planning my next adventure.  I have been to all 50 states, and 33 countries and look forward to increasing that number.

On my free time I like to SCUBA dive, read, take photos, hike, camp, and I recently got into climbing.
